Play Therapy for Kids, Support for the Parents Who Love Them

Morgan Abraham, LCSW, therapist in Redondo Beach and across California, standing outdoors near trees with pink flowers, wearing a black jacket and a blue and white patterned top, smiling at the camera.

I'm Morgan Abraham, LCSW — a child therapist who uses play therapy to help kids work through big emotions, anxiety, sensory needs, and life's harder moments. That work with children is also what led me to supporting the parents and caregivers raising them.

I'm also a parent coach through Parenthood on Purpose, where I teach Robyn Gobbel's parenting course — the same developmentally informed, attachment-based approach I bring to therapy.

Meet your therapist

Hi! I’m Morgan Abraham, LCSW

I'm the founder of Morgan Abraham Therapy and a parent coach at Parenthood on Purpose, where I teach Robyn Gobbel’s parenting course. In my practice, I provide care for mothers, families, and young children in Redondo Beach and throughout the South Bay, as well as online across California. I specialize in pregnancy, postpartum, parenting stress, anxiety, and trauma.

Becoming a mother has deepened so much of the therapist I am today.

Not sure where to start?

If your child is struggling and you'd like someone working directly with them, Child-Centered Therapy is the place to start. If you're the one feeling overwhelmed, or you and a partner or co-parent want to get on the same page, Parent, Caregiver & Family Support is built for you. Many families end up using both, and I'm always happy to help you figure out which makes sense first.

Getting Started

Here's How We'll Work Together

Reaching out for therapy can feel like a lot, especially when you're already handling so much. My goal is to make the process clear and manageable from the start.

One

Schedule a Free Consultation

This is your chance to talk about what's bringing you to therapy, ask any questions, and see if working together feels right.

Two

Getting Started

Early sessions focus on understanding your experiences, what's been hard, and what kind of support would help most. There's no pressure to have it all figured out before you start.

Three

Ongoing Support

As therapy continues, we'll work toward the goals that matter most to you. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, working through tough experiences, or facing parenting challenges, therapy gives you a space for healing and growth.
